       ADMISSIONS AND FINANCIAL AID

      Roger Williams University seeks students with a demonstrated capacity for academic achievement, who also possess intellectual curiosity, strength of character and a sense of social responsibility. The admission committee will evaluate your application based on a number of factors:

      Freshmen: The rigor of your high school curriculum, your scholastic record, standardized test scores, writing ability, interests, community involvement and talents.

      Transfers: Your academic performance at the college level, your scholastic record, standardized test scores (if applicable), writing ability, interests, community involvement and talents.

      International: Students are eligible to apply to programs if they have completed the equivalent of a United States secondary school education (approximately 12 years of formal education) and have the appropriate diplomas or satisfactory results on leaving examinations.

      All students are considered for merit scholarships through the admission process. Merit scholarships are available to full-time day division students.

      Financial Aid: (For U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents only)

      Roger Williams University utilizes the CSS Profile Form to uniformly assess the financial need of each applicant. Families may begin to complete the CSS Profile Registration and Application online beginning in October at www.collegeboard.com. Roger Williams University’s institutional deadline for submission of the CSS Profile is January 1 for both Early Action and Regular Decision applicants in order to be considered for the maximum aid possible. In addition, all applicants must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) between January 1 and February 1 each year to be considered eligible for aid the following academic year. To apply online, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Roger Williams University’s Title IV Code for the FAFSA Form is 003410 and for the Profile Form is 3729.
