to be very easy for us also. The bible says that God gave the children of Israel favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they demanded, and they plundered the Egyptians (Exodus 12:36).

      It is also not a coincidence that the name of the current Prime Minister of Israel is Benjamin. This name is very prophetic because it means “Son of my right hand”. This is the name of the child that was born to Rachel in deep sorrow, but Jacob, his father, called him Benjamin (Genesis 35:17-19). The midwife of Rachel said to her, when she was in hard labour, “Do not fear; you will have this son also.” The midwife was prophesying about us who were also to be born to God through hard labour. All of us, as the body of Christ, are the son that the midwife was referring to. We are the Benjamin Generation, the Blessed Generation.

      If you want to understand your part in the new covenant, look at the life of Benjamin. He was born from the same mother as Joseph and was born after him. The two sons speak of Jesus and us. Joseph is a picture of Jesus and Benjamin is a picture of us. In Genesis 45:7-8, Joseph said to his brothers, “And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.” This is exactly what God did for us. He knew that these times that we are living in were going to come. He therefore sent His Son beforehand to save our lives and to make provision for us.

      Out of all the ten brothers, Joseph blessed Benjamin the most. In Genesis 45:22, the bible says, “He gave to all of them, to each man, changes of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments.” Do you see this, Joseph gave money and clothing to Benjamin, and Jesus is doing the same to us right now and much more. He gives us richly all things to enjoy. Our inheritance is based purely on the grace of God and not on the works of the law or of the flesh. The grace of God originates from the covenant He made with Abraham, and the works of the law originates from the covenant He made with Moses at Mount Sinai.

      Your season to arise and to take possession of what rightfully belongs to you has come. The days of toiling are over. The days of wrong believing are over. From this day forward, you must reject any teaching that places you in bondage to the law. Today is the day of rest. Stand still and see the salvation of our God.

      I want you to know as I conclude this chapter that your inheritance is guaranteed and cannot fail. The inheritance for Isaac and Jacob could not fail because the covenant was not with them but with their father Abraham. Our inheritance also cannot fail because the covenant, to which our inheritance originates, was cut between God and His Son Jesus (Hebrews 9:15, 12:24, 1 Timothy 2:5). It is full proof and impossible for it to fail. We cannot break it because it was not cut with us. God cannot break it because it is impossible for Him to do so. Jesus cannot break it because His own blood has already sealed it.

      Let God do in your life, through Jesus Christ, what He promised to our father, Abraham (Deuteronomy 8:18). You and I, like Isaac, are children of promise (Galatians 4:28). Our inheritance is guaranteed by the Holy Spirit of God.
