ear to hear me,

      God’s word to speak for me,

      God’s hand to guard me,

      God’s way to lie before me,

      God’s shield to protect me,

      God’s host to secure me:

      against snares of devils,

      against temptations of vices,

      against inclinations of nature,

      against everyone who shall wish me ill,

      afar and anear, alone and in a crowd.

      I summon today all these powers between me (and these evils):

      against every cruel and merciless power that

      may oppose my body and my soul,

      against incantations of false prophets,

      against black laws of heathenry,

      against false laws of heretics,

      against craft of idolatry,

      against spells of witches, smiths and wizards,

      against every knowledge that endangers man’s body and soul.

      Christ to protect me today against poisoning,

      against burning, against drowning, against wounding,

      so that there may come abundance in reward.

      Christ with me,

      Christ before me,

      Christ behind me,

      Christ in me,

      Christ beneath me,

      Christ above me,

      Christ on my right,

      Christ on my left,

      Christ in breadth,

      Christ in length,

      Christ in height,

      Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,

      Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,

      Christ in every eye that sees me,

      Christ in every ear that hears me.

      I arise today through a mighty strength,

      the invocation of the Trinity,

      through belief in the Threeness,

      through confession of the Oneness of the Creator of creation.

      Salvation is of the Lord.

      Salvation is of the Lord.

      Salvation is of Christ.

      May Thy Salvation, O Lord, be ever with us.

      Amen.

      - Saint Patrick, 433 AD

      May We All Be Safe From Sorrow

      May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness;

      May all be free from sorrow and the causes of sorrow;

      May all never be separated from the sacred happiness which is sorrowless;

      And may all live in equanimity, without too much attachment and too much aversion,

      And live believing in the equality of all that lives.

      Novena to Saint Jude

      Saint Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of difficult and desperate cases. Pray for me, who am so miserable. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly — (here make your request) — and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout all eternity.

      I promise you, O blessed Saint Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor,

      and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron

      and do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

      Saint Jude, pray for us and for all who honor you and invoke your aid.

      Comforting Women With Breast Cancer

      Father, for the strength you have given me, I thank you. For the health you have blessed me with, I thank you. For the women who are going through breast cancer and their families, I ask you to strengthen and to heal as you see fit. Lord, we know you want us to be in good health and to prosper. Lord, use us to do the work you have for us to do. For we know time is getting short on this earth. Lord, be with every woman who is sick and encourage them as only you can. I know how faithful you are. You have shown yourself to be everything you say you are in your Holy Word. I praise you, for you made this body, and you can heal this body. In Jesus’ Name I pray.

      Seek and Ye Shall Find

      Ask, and it shall be given you;

      Seek, and you shall find;

      Knock, and it shall be opened to you.

      For whoever asks, receives;

      And he who seeks, finds;

      And to him who knocks, the door is opened.

      - Matthew 7:7, The Words of Christ, NIV

      Prayer to Heal the Body

      Beloved Lord, Almighty God,

      Through the Rays of the Sun,

      Through the Waves of the Air,

      Through the All Pervading Life in Space;

      Purify and Revivify Us

      And we pray, heal our bodies, hearts, and souls.

      Amen.

      Calling Upon God the Great

      I bow to Him who has conquered fear,

      conquered all afflictions, conquered sensual vexation,

      conquered passion, emotions, attachment, aversion and delusion,

      and has conquered pleasure and pain.

      May my misery end and the Karmic forces be annihilated.

      May I attain enlightenment and meet a peaceful death.

      May thy feet, O Noble Jina, the friend of all living beings,

      be my happy refuge!

      - Jain Namakar Mantra

      God is Within Us All

      May all I say and all I think

      be in harmony with Thee,

      God within me, God beyond me,

      Maker of the Trees.

      - Chinook Chant, Native North American

      Your Gifts to the World

      May I be protector for those without one,

      A guide for all travelers on the way;

      May I be a bridge, a boat and a ship

      For all who wish to cross (the water).

      May I be an island for those who seek one

      And a lamp for those desiring light,

      May I be a bed for all who wish to rest

      And a slave for all who want a slave.

      May I be a wishing jewel, a magic vase,

      Powerful mantras and great medicine,

      May
