Is patience good or bad
Patience is a quality we all need
Patience is a strength we all should try to achieve
We all heard people say:
Your time will come…go slow
But those in the know…have faith and believe
Don’t be discouraged…but have courage
With patience comes health and wealth
Knowledge and wisdom and power to believe in yourself
Is patience something that we earn or learn
I heard the other day
Good things come to those who wait and pace
And learn from their own and other’s mistakes
Patience is the key
If we all had patience, how different would the world be
Less divorce, less people in court,
Less fights and war,
More education and skills for the poor;
Less doctor’s bills and people getting killed.
With patience comes love, more knowledge, more room for tolerance;
More to gain and less pain.
Patience is will power we have within;
For not to have patience is a mortal sin!
Beautiful Things
Butterflies, ladybugs, kisses, and hugs—I love beautiful things that shine, glow with bling. How the morning birds give praise and sing. Wedding rings, flowers in spring, the love, mercy with forgiveness of our Lord and King, the sun, moon, and stars that radiate, glisten and shine; holy gifts from the Holy Divine, a beautiful woman in her prime. The snowcapped mountains that we dare to climb, smelling the fresh odor, fragrance of the tree pine’s beautiful things. The taste of sweet morning dew, the cool morning air that we all should appreciate, love, and care. Mothers braiding their young daughters’ hair, watching old movies of Michael Jackson or Fred Astaire; beautiful things that shine, glow, and bling.
The word of the God of my understanding that cleanses, protects, cleaves, and clings; loving adorable things like little children playing in park swings. Beautiful things, like shiny cars, watching the Wizard of Oz, movie stars, gazing up at the heavens and sky to witness Venus, Jupiter, and Mars. Watching my children say their prayers; confident people with humble flair; rivers that run so smooth and flow; African Americans sporting an afro; summer rain and winter snow; Jack Russells and cocker spaniels grow up to chase rabbits high and low.
Beautiful things like Broadway lights, helicopters, jet airplanes in flight; the beautiful sight of a holiday parade; rainbows with a variety of colors and shades; beautiful things…a bride and groom on their wedding day; Broadway plays, all things that mesmerize, beautify, and amaze. Beautiful things that shine, glow, and bling that touch the living, humble hearts of everyone or thing; that makes our hearts dance and sing… Beautiful things that shine, glow, and bling!
Summer Breeze
We worked hard and toiled all week to receive our earning and pay. As we wake up on this hot, humid, muggy Saturday, wishing we were in LA (on this bright, beautiful, hot, sweltering day), we need some recreation, someplace to play that’s cool, calm and wet; a refreshing outlet that has no regrets. We are feeling comfortable, restless, tired, and weak from the scorching summer heat that makes it hard to sleep.
The weatherman has sounded the temperature alarm, a call to arms, because someone has dropped a heat bomb when the sun sadistically beats down to where everything and everyone is superhot, sticky; a hellish inferno on the ground. There is only one cool oasis where we can be found—down by the ocean or sea, where you will find my girl and me. Under a shady palm tree, sipping on something cool (not coffee or tea), my girl and me, happy as can be, caught up in a whirlwind; the cool refreshing water, warm sand with a cool summer breeze that entices but never teases but makes love to me as the hot sweat rolls off of our bodies in beads.
The summer breeze with ease gives me a pleasant brain freeze, an LA type breeze. The gentle wind or breeze comforts us, holds, clings, cleaves; it engulfs, consumes, takes care of our overheated, dehydrated needs. I am just as happy, jolly, content as a mouse around cheese as we rest, lay, and lounge on a blanket (the best seats in town) on this serene white sand beach that is right within our reach; as sweet as a peach, trying to beat the heat with cold liquids with something light to eat; my girl and me trying desperately to stay cool, but we want more than just a bathtub or swimming pool but a God-given jewel, the peace with comfort of the beach is what we seek in this ninety-eight mercury degrees with the need to feel surreal, content, happy, joyful, but most importantly appeased as happy as a wildflower caught up in the summer breeze; taking in the sights, warm sand, cool water with the summer breeze, beating the ungodly summer heat that feels so uncomfortable from our heads to our feet.
The cool water and summer breeze is such a treat that is cool, refreshing, and sweet; unique, more rewarding than a lake, river, or creek; gives us all what we want, desire, or need; makes it easy to breathe. Lying here amongst happy people with smiling faces, queens and aces, some being flirtatious with the opposite sex, trying to score or touch bases while enjoying lively, happy pleasure with good conversation with reciprocation, with aquatic play on this beautiful, hot, sunny day; under clear skies with the sunrays, being friendly, sociable, and amazed how funny some people can behave; doing what we crave, riding on the blue waves on hot sunny days; laughing, joking, swimming while stroking, floating, boating, jet skiing (my girl and me) or sunbathing. Young women, young girls smiling, styling, projecting sexy grins while showcasing bikinis, flesh, meat, and skin, enticing young boys and men, taking their fantasies places they have never been, searching to meet a summer or eternal friend (possibly a Godsend) so true love can begin.
The beach is hot and spicy, yet as cool as ice-cream or Italian ices; everyone being friendly, happy go lucky and feisty, while children are running laughing, having fun in the water, sand and summer sun. Some trying to create or sculpture a sandcastle or sandman, working with their imagination and hands while grownups bake, roast, rest, getting a suntan; the tranquil ocean water feels so good, something out of Hollywood. As we laugh, swim, relax, enjoy life like we should, wishing the beach was our neighborhood, life on the beach is anything but a bore as lovers explore, hold hands, walk or stroll along the shore, taking in the sounds, views, being amused from the good vibes, sand, and watery tour; feeling the summer breeze that is sweet to the core that keeps us yearning for more. Seabirds of the air maneuvering with flair with the strength and courage of those who dare, with the assistance of the cool air beneath their wings, they fly through the air and stratosphere like queens and kings caught up in the summer breeze that romances, embraces, caresses, and pleases as our five senses come alive, watching young people in the water take a dive.
As we enjoy this magic ride, snorkeling, swimming, wading into the cool water against the tide, feeling carefree, alive after laying, lounging on the beach, getting roasted, toasted, and fried, our inner feelings start to tinkle as we socialize, mingle with couples and singles enjoying the brisk, rejuvenating, stimulating summer breeze that blows through my hair, the flowers, ocean, and palm trees; the refreshing blessed ocean water that is cool and wet takes effect, something special that you will never forget. It is impossible to be here angry, hostile, mad, or upset, because the cool water with the summer breeze is the best thing yet.
Happy people playing ball in the water or sand; joy, fun, happiness is in demand; music is playing, blasting on the radio where we enjoy, take life nice and slow; with a splash, wanting good times to last, hanging out and about with my better half. But good times move quick and fast; lifeguards sitting in their high chair, looking, hawking, stalking as they observe, focus and stare at people on the beach everywhere (one and all), being ready for anyone who sinks or falls. Help is here; the lifeguards are on call; have no fear, because their savior is near.
