adventure
somewhere on a
library shelf,
in the comic books world.
memories from childhood
22.
my daily
rendezvous with tea,
always brings me back
into my inner sanctuary
where I wedded with you
for the first time.
we were young,
and so pure,
and all we knew,
was that the whole world
is ours.
now,
sitting all by myself
and watching my empty sanctuary,
where no one has been in years,
I drink from my tea,
enjoying every sip
and feeling the sacredness
of your steps
that still linger
on the sanctuary’s stairs.
23.
the flower on your coffee cup,
a simple imprint of beauty
that carries
so much humbleness in it,
makes me love you more,
each day that passes.
springtime in the morning
when you wake up
or resting in the shade
on hot summer days,
your coffee cup is full
with the essence of your dreams
that fly continuously
like the breeze of the wind
into the forest,
reminiscence
of your playful and sincere
childhood fantasies.
24.
steady steps
in a long walk in the park,
have brought me to the tree
that I knew
ever since childhood,
where I was hiding
so you can’t see me,
and we were playing,
like there was no tomorrow.
now I want you to find me,
with every beat of your heart
inside the dreams
that rest
in your curly and soft
blonde hair.
25.
the sweet taste of pistachio
is bringing me back in time,
when I was merely a child
playing with pebbles
words and games,
that were only touching
the surface
of our shiny days.
back then
I only saw the white clouds
and the clear blue skies,
looking upwards all the time,
cherishing my every step,
knowing that they’ll lead
to all the beautiful places
in this serene blue world.
I finished my snack,
but I still feel the taste
of the green pistachio,
of my childhood days.
26.
the place where we grew up
is almost unchanged
although
over 30 years had passed.
occasional houses and tall buildings
appeared, to complete the landscape,
and new people,
wearing new kinds of clothes
are walking around,
to show that times have actually changed.
still, the same eerie feeling from the past,
is lingering above our neighborhood,
no matter what day it is,
or how blue the sky is
or how the white clouds
will rearrange,
in their patterns,
in the morning skies.
27.
so close to the time
when I was just a kid,
when I enjoyed a bite of cake
like it was the whole world to me;
so close to the time
when my love for you,
felt like a sweet biscuit in the jar
that I couldn’t eat
because my grandmother
put it too high, on the cupboard;
sixteen years into the future,
is not that long,
and although I am older now
I still feel the soft fragrance
of the clear soul
and joyful heart,
when everything was there
just for me
and you.
28.
inside the transparent glass
that sits on the kitchen table,
there are a few
colored lollipops,
that you sometimes
like to have,
so you can feel again
the magic of your childhood.
back then
everything was clear,
fresh and new
and you were eating
raw green apples
from our neighbor’s tree,
making the day
ours, to have,
where the world
was dancing with us
in a timeless and forgotten fashion.
3 PM
29.
the semiopaque drapes at my windows
reveal a sunny space
in my room
where I can feel
the distant warmth
of our beloved golden sphere.
the yellow and dense energy
radiating the multicolored rays of light
