He owns a transportation service with a small fleet, consisting of two stretch limos, one luxury car and one stretch Hummer SUV. He owns two barber shops, one in the USA Flea Market on 79th Street in Liberty City and the other in 183rd Street Flea Market in Miami Gardens. He has a tow truck company with a storage lot. He has three car washes (one at each flea market and one in Aventura), a scooter rental business on the beach and fourteen vending machines in a corporate office in downtown Fort Lauderdale. And he has a healthy investment portfolio thanks to his dad.
Mauricio is venturing into opening a cell phone store, a hair and nail salon and branching into event promoting. He wants to promote any and all kinds of events, not just clubs.
But he also comes from money. Esteban, his father, is loaded.
Esteban purchased Mauricio his luxurious waterfront condo on Hollywood Beach after graduation. It sits on one of the most prestigious coasts in South Florida. His four-bedroom, six-bathroom unit is composed of 7,120 square feet of luxury living.
His home comes equipped with twelve foot tall vaulted ceilings, marble flooring, elaborate molding and impact resistant, floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the ocean. The space includes a formal living room and dining room, family room, office, billiards room and laundry room. His grand master suite has a grand master bath, two walk-in closets, a sitting area and an oversize sunrise terrace. He uses one bedroom as his weight room, another as a guest room and the last one as his sex room. His den is turned into a game room with a 152” plasma television. But the best feature is his gourmet kitchen.
Since he loves to cook, he had his kitchen remodeled. He splurged on Italian custom cabinetry, a Sub Zero builtin, side by side refrigerator with cabinetry matching front panels and a Wolf 60” dual fuel range with double oven.
His custom-made, teardrop-shaped island doubles as a breakfast bar. And the best view is just off the kitchen in the solarium.
He has everything he needs for his active lifestyle.
In terms of women, he isn’t dating anyone serious. He has female friends, but no emotional attachments to any of them. They all understand their place.
Chapter 9
The Gossip
Wyatt arrived to Mauricio’s about thirty minutes after Lola left. They didn’t immediately get to work. They went into Mauricio’s weight room to workout a little and talk.
Wyatt went first. He told him everything about his night with Crystale and how they stayed at the club a little while longer. Then, they went to the beach. But that was cut short ‘cause she had to use the bathroom. So, he offered his place since he stayed nearby.
“Where was Linda?” asked Mauricio curiously.
“Out of town.”
“Ok . . . Finish.”
While Crystale was in the restroom, Wyatt took off his shirt to look for another one. He wasn’t sure where they were headed next, but he didn’t want to smell like the club anymore.
She came out and saw him. Wyatt assumed she thought he was trying to make a move by taking his shirt off ‘cause she attacked him after that. He didn’t complain though.
“Boy, that shit was so good. She had my ass goin’ crazy. It was like a monster woke up in me. I did shit with her that I hadn’t done in a long time,” said Wyatt excited.
They both laughed.
“Dawg, she’s the first girl in a long time that’s made me feel like a man and not a bank,” said Wyatt.
“She seemed pretty cool. So, what’s up with you guys now?”
“I don’t know. She ran outta there this mornin’ after the third time.”
“Damn, Dawg!! Three times?”
“Hell yeah!!! I told you that shit was good!”
They laughed as Wyatt told him a few more details. Then, date night was mentioned.
“She invited me to this date night thing tonight,” said Wyatt.
“Yeah I’m going, too. Lola’s coming back to get me later.”
“Whatchu mean comin’ back to get you?” Wyatt now asked curiously.
“She took the Rover, Dawg.”
“What!!!” yelled Wyatt in total shock.
Wyatt couldn’t believe what he’d just heard. He knew Mauricio either really liked her or lost his mind ‘cause he never let a female take any of his cars.
“Dawg, she must have put it down last night,” teased Wyatt.
“We didn’t do anything, Dawg. We were about to when she got a phone call. Then, we started talking and just got wrapped up in that. We ended up falling asleep. And she even slept in my bed. My bed, Dawg!”
“What?!?” yelled Wyatt again. “No pussy and she slept in your bed? What’s the world comin’ to?”
They both laughed.
Mauricio told Wyatt about Lola’s mother, how she quit her job to start her own business and about her godparents.
“Last night was real different for me. You know I never let a woman sleep in my bed. And I would’ve fucked walking through the door. But it wasn’t like that. We were jus’ vibin’,” said Mauricio.
“Is it possible that you, Mauricio . . . “Mr. I don’t get attached” . . . have finally found someone you like?”
Mauricio shrugged his shoulders. “I can’t explain it, Dawg. But there’s just something about her.”
“That’s cool, though. I hope shit works out between you two.”
Wyatt was still shocked they didn’t have sex knowing how Mauricio was. But Mauricio assured him he would make up for it tonight and told him his plans.
Meanwhile, Lola, Crystale and Blair met up at the modeling agency. Every time they had date night, they got their hair and make-up professionally done. It wasn’t like it cost them.
“Spill it,” said Blair to Lola. “And don’t leave out any of the dirty details.”
Lola hesitated because she knew what was coming. But she told them anyway. “We didn’t do anything. We just talked all night.”
“WHAT?!?” they both yelled together.
“Biatch, are you CRAZY?!?! Did you see that man you were with last night? I would’ve raped his ass!” shouted Blair.
“Girl, I even got some and didn’t plan it. Yours was planned. How did that happen?” asked Crystale.
“Well, we were about to when Madrina called me. I forgot to text her and turn off my phone,” said Lola.
They just shook their heads in disbelief. That was the dumbest move ever on Lola’s part. But they did compliment Mauricio. He seemed very nice and they looked cute together.
Next went Crystale. They both couldn’t believe she had sex with Wyatt . . . and on the first night. They just knew she was going to be the conservative one.
“When I came out of the bathroom and saw his body, I couldn’t help it. He looked so good with his shirt off. It was like his body was calling me,” said Crystale reminiscing.
“I think it was those drinks calling, not his body,” Lola joked making everyone laugh.
“Damn, girl! So you raped him?” asked Blair.
“Hell yeah,” said Crystale proud of her accomplishment.
“Look
