      Problem: They had to chase the hippo.

      Solution: wildlife sanctuary came

      Problem:

      Owen got trapped in a net by fishermen. Everyone cheered. But Owen broke the net and got away. Soon they finally caught him and pinned him down.

      Solution

      So they called the wildlife sanctuary to come get him so he can be in a good place where he can be happy.

       The idea of one man: 2 stories confused her at first. Paired her with Elena to discuss, then Maria got it.

       Enjoyed learning about the “real” Jphny Appleseed. Was able to visualize and show differences between legend and real person.

       Worked well with Maria.

       Practice moving from talk to notebook writing.

      Robbie:

       Solid recall but reread when he needed more specific details. Able to put details in own words.

       Listened to others and then chanced showing a difference. She needs lots of positives to gain confidence to share.

       Work 1 to 1 to practice sharing and note how well she does.
