I want lofty castles filled with light-hearted dragons.

I want lazy days and breathtakingly dark nights.

I want star-studded skies and beautifully blinding blast-offs.

I want spectacular spaceships headed for delicious destinations unknown.

       I want fantastically flaming comets.

       I want marvelous meteor showers.

       I want fire.

       I want rain.

       I want earth.

       I want space.

       I want heaven on earth.

       I want...

       And want...

       And want...

       ......Oh these wants of mine

      Times Two

I dreamed of you before I knew you

Stowed away on a rocket ship, flew to you

Planted sunflower seeds in the moonlight, I grew you

      That’s what this love is,

An inexplicable tangling and twisting of lives.

      Alive in love.

      Alive.

      You were her,

Before I knew she was me.

      I am you.

      Both gardener and seed.

      Master painter and masterpiece.

I am the sheep and the wolf wearing fleece.

      The greatest and the least.

      All of these, simultaneously.

All of this, inside of me.

      Fibs (Haiku)

      Anxiety lies

He tells me I will never_____

      Then fills in the blank

      Smell of Spring

      Blossom for me baby.

       Grow beautifully stranger and stronger,

       With each rising sun.

       Branch out with me baby.

       Connect at the root,

Tangled vines assuring us of where to go.

       Grow higher.

       Dig deeper.

       Breathe sweeter.

       And before you know it...

       You will bloom again.

       We will gloriously bloom again.

       No more tears.

       Clear skies ahead baby.

       We. Will. Bloom. Again

      Bird Tale

He landed swiftly on a branch above,

      And softly sang to me,

      “Don’t fear progress.

       Inhale. Exhale.

It’s all part of the process.

Everything you need will be supplied.

       Your soul calls to freedom,

Like a beautiful bird heralding the rising sun.

       Purpose greets the dawn.

Where love will always be your portion.

       Don’t fear the seasons.

For every spring brings new life.

Every summer, sets your heart ablaze.

Every fall, strips away your soul’s heaviness.

       And winter...

       There’s always a winter.

       But, don’t fear the cold.

       Don’t fear the numbness.

       Remember, nothing lasts forever.

       It’s all cyclical. Biblical.

       Temporary & spiritual.

       Don’t fear change.

       Don’t fear progress.

Inhale. Exhale. It’s all part of the process.”

       ...Then he disappeared.

      Open House

There is a sacred beauty in openness.

       Do you feel it?

Open fields. Open air. Open spaces.

       In these places...Words fail me.

       Time stops.

       I stop.

       Nothing else matters.

       My heart craves openness.

Open arms. Open heart. Open mind.

I crave this, yet fear it simultaneously

Afraid, once open, perhaps I won’t be enough...

       Or even worse...

       What if I’m too much?

       Breathe in. Exhale.

Believe, all is well with my soul.

       It is well with me.

I can never be too much

       For those gifted to see.

See me as I really am...

       Made to run free,

Wind in my face. Sun at my back.

       Grassy fields beneath my feet.

       Living in Love

As I was created to do...

Connecting with those, who live open too.

      No Body

Trapped in flesh, bound by senses

What we see isn’t what we see

So you see, we are defenseless

But I hear it in the spirit

To be free, we must be senseless.

      One Blind

One of the kids left a single blind askew,

Thought I woke up at morning to a clear sign from you.

Brilliant sunlight, spilling right into the room,

Chasing off sadness, disappointment, and gloom.

And of course, ego mocked me saying, “Girl, you’re clearly dreaming.

Everything is something, when you’re searching for meaning”

Everything is something, when I’m searching for meaning.

      Finding Myself

I always thought it was weird, the concept of finding myself

As if there was a way to re-wind myself,

      Back to the beginning.

In the beginning, there was this mystery:

When I was eight years old, my teacher asked me,

“When you grow up, what do you want to be?”

Off the top of my head, I simply said,

“Mrs. Perez, I want to be free!”

Even in my youth, I had this hunger and thirst for truth.

A yearning and burning desire to vibrate higher and explore never-ending
