      Energy shot through the crack and surged into Adam’s like grounded lightening. In an amount of time that can only be measured in plancks, the energy traveled through the drill and reacted with every molecule in Adam's body.

      The chain reaction caused rapid thermal expansion, and an explosion ensued a fraction of a second later, vaporizing everything within ten meters, and creating a massive bubble that temporarily pushed back the unforgiving water. When the water smashed together again, very little of the team was left floating in the wake.
