I RECEIVE WITH GRATITUDE AND GREAT JOY THE HEALING THAT WAS PURCHASED FOR ME IN THE ATONEMENT!
Mark 7:33-35 - And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue; And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. THANK YOU, JESUS, FOR DOING NO LESS FOR ME THAN YOU DID FOR THIS MAN! IN FOLLOWING YOUR EXAMPLE--BECAUSE YOU SAID THAT WE COULD DO “THESE THINGS AND GREATER” WHEN YOU WENT BACK TO THE FATHER--I PUT MY FINGERS INTO MY OWN EARS JUST AS YOU WOULD IF YOU WERE STANDING HERE IN FRONT OF ME. I SAY TO MY EARS, “IN THE NAME OF JESUS, EPHPHATHA! BE OPENED!”
Psalms 115:6 - They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: THANK YOU, GOD, FOR SENSES WHICH WORK JUST AS YOU CREATED THEM TO WORK IN MY BODY. NOT ONE PART OF MY BODY WILL CEASE TO FUNCTION IN THE PERFECTION WITH WHICH YOU CREATED IT TO FUNCTION. MY EARS ARE NOT JUST MOUNTED ON MY HEAD FOR SHOW—THEY HEAR! MY NOSE ISN’T JUST A COSMETIC FEATURE ON MY FACE…IT CAN SMELL!
Genesis 27:27 - And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed: THANK YOU, LORD, THAT MY SENSE OF SMELL IS HEALED AND VERY KEEN TO RECOGNIZE SCENTS. NO ALLERGIES OR SINUSITIS OBSTRUCT MY NOSE FROM BEING ABLE TO DETECT SCENTS AND ODORS, BECAUSE I CAN BREATHE FREELY THROUGH MY NOSE. NO NERVE DAMAGE, AND CERTAINLY NOT AGE, CAN DIMINISH WHAT YOU CREATED MY SENSE OF SMELL TO DO. ISAAC WAS A VERY OLD MAN AND HE STILL HAD A KEEN SENSE OF SMELL…AND IN JESUS’ NAME, SO DO I!
1 Corinthians 12:17 - If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? THANK YOU, GOD, FOR YOUR GENIUS IN CREATING FIVE SEPARATE SENSES THAT WORK TOGETHER TO BLESS THE ENTIRE BODY. I THANK YOU FOR HEALING AND KEEPING WHOLE ALL FIVE SENSES IN ME: SIGHT, HEARING, SMELL, TOUCH, AND TASTE…AND JUST LIKE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, MY ORGANS AND SENSES FULFILL THEIR RESPECTIVE PURPOSES WITH A SYNERGISTIC EFFECT.
Job 6:30 - Is there iniquity in my tongue? cannot my taste discern perverse things? THANK YOU GOD FOR A HEALTHY, KEEN SENSE OF TASTE WHICH NOT ONLY ENHANCES MY ENJOYMENT OF NOURISHING FOODS; BUT IT ALSO SERVES AS A GUARDIAN TO KEEP SPOILED, UNCLEAN, OR TOXIC SUBSTANCES FROM ENTERING MY BODY.
