spices and herbs were probably for the leftovers) from time to time, until that unfortunate Apple episode. The question is, who killed and butchered the meat? God? Adam? It must have been God as he made coats out of the skins from these animals. Remember, this is all good so far, God has six days into this project.

The Bible - Genesis Chapter 2

God has made man and placed him in the new garden he had just planted. In the garden, God put a lot of “good food trees,” along with the tree of knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life.

Verse 17. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest of it; there of thou shalt surely die.” (God was bluffin’ here, because we all know Adam and Eve didn’t die that same day).

For openers, isn’t this a form of entrapment? Our nature is to do first, whatever we’re told not to do. God should have known that. Besides, he’s asking Adam (and later Eve) to remain dumb and have to grub around in the woods for their food for the rest of eternity. They had to be like two short haired gerbils who would be fed and watered as long as they were good. Weren’t they being “kept” by God in his earthly cage? And do you really think that if they had eaten of the tree of life instead, that all man-kind would be immortal and there’s nothing God could of done to stop us? Eve screwed up didn’t she! If she’d have given Adam the “life apple” they’d had plenty of time to get smart! But it’s not Eve’s fault ~ we’ll come back to her later.

Verse 21. “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead there of.”

God used his rib to make a little “help-mate” for Adam (evidently forgetting how he had just recently made Adam out of dust). I’ll bet Adam had one “God awful” nightmare that evening! Everything else in the whole world God made out of mist and dust, but must have wanted women to be “a Rib up” on men. And they are, aren’t they?

      Quiz:

      A. Men have one less rib than women.

      B. Actually, women have one full set of ribs more than a man.

      C. There are exceptions but we both have the same number of ribs.

It’s C ~ a lot of young home schooled, religiously imprinted college kids, have trouble with that one.

Verse 24. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh.”

Why is God going on about a father and mother? Adam’s back is still sore and he’s just met Eve, neither have had human parents. To Adam, the word “wife” meant ‘the only woman he could get,’ as this was sort of a forced relationship. Doesn’t it seem as God’s laying the ground work for the upcoming eviction notice?

An awful lot of people believe direct creation is how we came to be. Since they’ve been told this story over and over in youth, they’re so imprinted, that if God himself would tell them that it isn’t so, they’d still believe! But it’s not true, not one word of it, it’s a myth. A myth!!

What is a myth exactly? Basically a fictitious story. An untruth, told, altered, enhanced, and retold until it becomes a useful truth. It’s still with us down through the ages because people that couldn’t be controlled in the tribe with force could be controlled with the “Fear of God”. So far in Genesis, the authors are describing God’s absolute powers over men. The overriding message of course is, “fear God and do as we say.”

So what really happened? We evolved! I know twice as many people believe the above myth over evolution and natural selection, but quite frankly, they’re wrong. Evolution is just a theory they say, forgetting that the idea of God itself has multiple theories. Man and everything on this planet evolved and the proof is staggering. The trouble is, most folks don’t want to look at the proof because they might start doubting and of course if you doubt in the least bit, you aren’t going to Heaven, right? Some are so imprinted, that no amount of indisputable proof will change their thinking because they already believe something else. A good friend of mine who attended a Catholic School said he and his classmates received two hours each day of “religious instruction” and some extra time on the holidays. Imprinting and mind control on the young is well understood by the Church and therefore Darwinism bounces off them like water off a ducks back. Darwin can’t take them to Heaven like “belief” is supposed to be able to.

It always puzzled me though, if you’re a believer, why not throw up your hands and say OK, God did it with evolution, like some already do? That’s because the Bibles would be laid aside and God would lose a lot of power over men for starters. Secondly, evolution makes God appear to be unconnected, uncaring, unloving and uninterested in what takes place in all life.

But that’s not the worst of it. Natural selection makes God out to be cruel and unconcerned about the plight of the losers in this earthly free for all. After all, why should he be concerned, he told all the species to “be fruitful and multiply”, thereby insuring a continuous flow of life forms. No need to ever worry about whole species let alone individuals. Evolution is the perfect “hands off” way, to arrive at interesting new creatures to observe; in their struggle to survive.

Think about it for a minute, if you were God, with unlimited power and unlimited time on your hands, what would you do to keep from going mad? You wouldn’t create anything equal because that would be the “identical tin soldiers” marching in monotonous order thing. Entertaining possibly in the short term, but not so much for the long haul. Why not let evolution take its course and let the chips fall where they may and constantly be surprised? We know this is pretty close to the way it is because the entire universe is attempting to make life at all times everywhere.

How is it though that evolutionists are so cock-sure they’re right about all this? Lets’ take a look.

      Evolution

What is a theory? Robert Anderson in the September 2001 issue of Natural History says, “A theory is a set of logically consistent abstract principles that explain a body of concrete facts. Not to be confused with an idea tentatively held for the purpose of argument – that we call a hypothesis. Evolution is firmly based on just such a logical structure and is therefore every bit as certain as the existence of Atoms.”

All life on earth has the same chemistry. Gary Taubes in the June 2001 issue of Discover says, “The blue print for creatures – for man, bacteria and everything else alive – is encoded in lengthy strings of DNA. Higher animals, like us, keep this DNA in compact units called chromosomes; we have 46 of them. Sexual creature’s mate, the genetic information stored in the chromosomes of the two parents is intermingled. The offspring inherit a combination of genes from both, and nature throws in a few mutations that provide an opportunity for more advantageous characteristics to come along in the next generation. Species evolve because the offspring best suited to thrive in their environment are those most likely to breed successfully and pass on their genes to the next generation. After several thousand or million years, the result will be creatures uniquely adapted for living in particular environments.”

Karen Wright in the March 2009 issue of Discover says, “The universal appeal of Darwin’s theory lies in its central tenet; natural selection, or “survival of the fittest.” That tenet states that organisms best suited to their circumstances, will be the ones most likely to reproduce; spreading their adaptive traits and driving out the competition. Natural selection creates a dynamic, ever changing biota, driven to evolve by genetic variation, adaptation to different environments, competition for limited resources and cooperative exchanges among individuals. It explains how, from simple beginnings, the diversity and complexity of living things arose.” Stephen Jay Gould in the February 1982 issue of Discover said “Darwin denied evolution was progressive, for the better, and also introduced the specter of Randomness into evolutionary theory. To be sure, randomness only provides a source of variation in Darwin’s theory. Natural selection (a deterministic process) then scrutinizes
