When the transition process for your trans-identified partner requires much of the focus, learning about all the ins and outs of the process can feel like a full-time job, and for a while it very well may be. However, it must be understood that, for many people, learning of the transition does not require coping tools or the gaining of core strength. Although taking a risk or trying something new may be valuable in itself, for these partners, working out ambivalences or self-doubt in relation to the transition may not be any part of their journey. For those who know this is their story, this suggestion may only be helpful as an opportunity to remember the novel things you want to try. Yet for those who are experiencing the self-doubt and feeling invisible on any level in respect to the transition, embarking on a new venture can be empowering. Once the dust settles and you have overcome that learning curve, it is time to de-stress and focus that energy on beginning something new that is of total interest to you to pursue!
Journal your reaction to this Deserving De-Stress Delight.
