      Introduction

Origami Zoo Kit offers a complete collection of colorful origami zoo animals, each with its own specially designed paper. Fold a magnificent peacock with its blue and green eyespotted fantail, a scaly and slithery python, or a graceful spotted giraffe—to name just a few of the animals included.

As you move through the book, models progress from beginner level through intermediate. To help you follow the diagrams, refer to the origami symbols on the facing page.

Enjoy decorating the models with stickers for eyes, ears, paws, and other features. Have fun mixing and matching! To landscape your zoo you can fold and decorate trees and fences. You can even make a set of guests to accompany you on your visit.

Included with this kit is a colorful zoo map with six habitats for your origami animals:

      Jungle—Parrot, Monkey, Gorilla

      Grassy Plain—Lion, Giraffe, Elephant, Kangaroo

      Tropical Pond—Crocodile, Hippo

      Rain Forest—Python, Peacock

      Mountain Forest—Panda

      Ocean Shore—Sea Lion

The zoo map is recreated on the back side without colors, so that you can use your creativity to make the plants, beaches, rocks, and kiosks any color you like.
