       Title Page:

This pro street 1967 coupe is being fitted with the still popular 2003–2004 Cobra Terminator engine. It doesn’t require drive-by-wire or control of variable cam timing and there are plenty of aftermarket power adders to make the Terminator a good choice for a swap. This car will be fitted with the T-56 6-speed and Cobra independent rear suspension. The car has received a mini tub in the back and all four fenders have been flared 1½ inches.

       Top:

Fitting a modular engine into 1967–1970 Mustangs and Cougars requires modifications to the towers or a suspension system that eliminates the towers to make room for the wider engines. This 4.6 SOHC is installed in a 1970 Mustang.

       Middle Left:

Suspension upgrades include this custom fitment of the 1999–2004 Mustang SN-95 MacPherson strut front suspension. No geomertry is changed and an early Mustang can ride as well as the newer versions.

       Middle Right:

For unique installs, I provide a step-by-step method to fabricate your own motor mounts that can rotate 90 degrees to a chassis or crossmember.

       Bottom:

Transmission mounts for early Mustangs and later Fox bodies are readily available for a conversion. This crossmember allows for 6 inches of movement in three axes for early Mustang applications.
