But what about the blizzard of brochures, announcements, company memos, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and (yes) books that buries you continually, at work and at home? How do you decide what to actually read, and when? And where do you put all of it? Begin by really examining your schedule and deciding how much time you have to read each week. How many hours a week do you have for reading, and how many of those hours do you want to spend reading periodicals? How many periodicals can you realistically fit into that time frame?
Start with magazines, professional journals, newsletters, and any other periodicals that you are currently subscribed to. Make a list of all of them:
