Сонет 11
Тон поучения остался, но оскорбительных смыслов нет.
Можно сравнить сонет 11: «И та свежая кровь, которую ты в молодости отдашь, ты сможешь назвать своей, когда молодость пройдёт – And that fresh blood which youngly thou bestow’st Thou mayst call thine, when thou from youth convertest», и замок сонета 2: «Ты будешь обновлён, когда ты состаришься и увидишь свою кровь тёплой, когда почувствуешь холод – This were to be new made when thou art old, And see thy blood warm when thou feel’st it соld».

Сонет ярко иллюстрирует работу Шекспира со «старыми образами» типа «деталь» при обращении к одному и тому же адресату – поэт никогда не повторяется, а всегда находит новый ракурс «старого» образа.

Сонет 13
Шекспир назвал адресата «my love» – моя любовь или мой милый. Какой перевод будет верным?
Ответ виден косвенно в замке сонета. Обращение «my love» дано в одной строке с обвинением адресата в расточительстве, мотовстве – O, none but unthrifts: dear my love.
Очевиден снисходительный тон такого обращения. Так старшие нередко обращаются к младшим по возрасту, а значит, уместнее перевести «my love» как «мой милый».
Также видим, что об отце адресата сказано в прошедшем времени – You had a father.
