      В русскоязычной литературе понятия «флуорофор» и «флуорохром» обычно не различают, однако иногда под термином «флуорохром» подразумевают собственно флуоресцирующую молекулу, а под «флуорофором» – конъюгат флуорохрома с макромолекулой либо флуоресцирующий компонент сложной макромолекулярной структуры.10
