Acknowledgments
My sincere thanks to the Barron’s editorial staff who have appreciated my love for dogs and supported my continued reading and writing about those dogs and the changes that have developed in the pet health industry. I am grateful to editor Kathleen Ganteaume in particular for her superb guidance in the second edition of Complete Book of Dog Breeding, and to my lovely wife, Marilyn, for her excellent proofreading. I am deeply indebted to the dog lovers of America who have purchased my books and used the information contained in them to their advantage, and it is with humble appreciation that I continue to write and revise my books.
