       I remember the day we moved as if it was yesterday.

       On October 4, 2010, my husband and I boarded a Continental flight from the Houston, Texas, airport direct to Belize City, Belize. Unlike most everyone else on the flight, we were not going there for a vacation. Quite the opposite. We were leaving the United States of America, our native country, forever!

       Since then, the number one question we both encounter is “Why did you move out of the United States?” It’s not a simple question. It certainly doesn’t have one answer. And our answers are most definitely different than thousands of other people who have gone before us in making the same decision.
