“Tell me how you really feel,” she asked.
It took a moment for Ally’s words to compute. Bees were swarming through his thoughts. Slowly, Tag tuned out the buzzing and focused on her lazy-lidded eyes and swollen lips.

I also knew that he was going to have to be knocked off his feet. Because he’s awesome, of course. But also because he’s a thirty-eight-year-old bachelor who’s a bit set in his ways.
