3 Paths to Visualization
It is my honor to introduce a visualization for actualizing more power, health, wealth and happiness into your consciousness and life. Live the spirit of this until what the visualization brings becomes yours. The things of the world are fluid, not fixed, and ruled by a creative power within man. You need not venture out to acquire this power. You already have it within. You need to understand it; if you want to use it and to control it. Taste it, feel it, so that you can go forward and carry the world before you.
Day by day as you gain momentum, as your inspiration deepens, as your plans crystallize, as you gain understanding, you will come to realize that this world isn’t a dead pile of stones. It is a live tapestry that is woven from the beating hearts of living things. It is a thing of life and beauty. It is evident that it requires understanding to work with this, but those who come into this understanding, are inspired by a new light, a new force, they gain confidence and greater power each day they realize their hopes and their dreams come true, life has a deeper, fuller, clearer meaning than before.
You might have watched the video, “The Secret”. It expands on the power of pure, positive visualization first introduced in modern form by Napeoleon Hill is his “Think and Grow Rich” which introduces the wealth materialization concept . A recent book “The Answer” has a similar theme. While these ideas are not new in the world, they are new in terms of actualizing personal business power. Many believe they are telling the truth when they teach all one has to do is intend and affirm a thing clearly and one receives it. The truth is beyond this, for most of us. Here is your business motto that does work .. “in order to acquire great wealth you must supply or support one who supplies goods or services to the masses that makes life more pleasant for them”.
The secret to being successful is to “know” you will be successful. Mentally I have sought to make more than a million a year for quite some time, but it is not until recently that I “know” I will do it. Your goals are just as simple. Once you set a goal, you must have no doubt that you will achieve it. You achieve all goals in your head before they become material in the world.
For most of us this not only sounds “odd”, but it sounds “impossible”. How can a person achieve a goal in his head before he actually does it? The idea is simple. The seeker must be convinced; he is in fact ‘programmed’ for this result. The seeker must know that the goals are eminent. This means that the expectation is assured and self-assurance on the subject must be absolute.
Understanding The Mind’s Content
Before you are able to think at all, you must have something to think about. This mental data you can gain only through the senses. You must have some sensory input which your mind labels. Thus. the appearance of a tree, the roar of the ocean, the odor of a rose, the taste of an orange, the sensation you experience in handling a piece of satin—all these are so much data helping to visualize or form your stock of mental images which your mind forms into threads of connective associations, like rose and odor, that are then are woven into fabric —“the content of the consciousness”, as psychologists call it.
All these millions and millions of facts which make up our mental data— the fabric of thought - is gained through the senses, sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Our minds in turn adds meanful interpretations of these facts, and associates emotions which in turn make ‘stories’ that are associated with events. These ‘stories’ or scripts become programmed into our subconscious. Fortunately, our brain has a certain ‘plasticity’ which allows us to to change these scripts and reprogram them; even those that are deeply embedded within the subconscious. The method has some similarities to reprogramming a muscle’s operation in that it capitalizes on the mind, body connection and utilizes some of these ideas for reaching the subconscious. Exploring an approach to reprogramming your ‘money story’ is what this book is about.
Developing Your Business Sense
We are blessed with five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. Aside from them, we are blessed with emotion and a mind. These blessings should be used to build a good wealthy life. Just like audio/video equipment, our eyes and ears can be used to receive data for our mind to spot opportunities or to select a business.
To make this possible, you must focus your mind on thoughts aligned to achieve your goal. Using sight and sound as receptors, with your mind as a processor in money-making mode, you can create and simulate a product, service, or business that will benefit not only yourself but many people as well.
Take the case of famous inventors like Alexander Graham Bell (the telephone), the Wright Brothers (the airplane), and many others who became sensible to new possibilities and discoveries. You must learn to think outside the box and to be persistent in whatever endeavor you have ventured into, no matter how discouraging the results may seem at first. When I was venturing into internet marketing in 2002, I was relating to my friends how the internet had produced a great second income for me, and how it has the potential for them too. But almost nobody seemed to listen nor were they receptive even though some were frantically looking for second income ideas.
The few who listened were interested at first, but they did not continue when they did not succeed the first time. How discouraging to see people giving up easily. Success does not come overnight. Success comes to those who persevere and remain undaunted after encountering setbacks. If you truly want to be rich, stay focused on your target despite any obstacle that comes in your way. Sooner or later, you will realize your dream of financial freedom. For most, financial freedom comes from digging deeper into whatever you ventured, rather than abandoning it in favor of new sites.
This is also true in changing your money story. Persistent daily repetition of your positive visualization is the key to reaching your subconscious, to getting it to work for you instead of against you. Most give up too early and do not make it a part of their daily routine; they do not make it a habit. My advice is to concentrate on the immediate benefits of feeling better, healthier and better able to claim your world each day, rather than the longer term benefit of achieving your dreams. Let your motivation be the daily benefits you receive by doing visualizations! And you will find that you’ve reached your dreams sooner, almost before you’ve realized it was happening.
Imagination, the Hidden Ingredient
The possession of trained perceptions, of a retentive memory and great powers of association are of enormous value; but only when combined with another faculty—imagination. Imagination is merely the power of recombining certain memories in such a fashion that the combination is new. So imagination is not new memories, but in fact a new story, or way of looking at something, or a different assumption of what it means.. a little like creating a new recipe. You start wondering whether a certain mix of ingredients and spices could do better. Or whether a recipe could be more interesting with some different ingredients or, less, or more spices. Yet the ingredients and spices remain the same; it is how you use them that is different. Imagination is a faculty of the highest possible importance.
Every splendid achievement, every invention, every business enterprise, every great poem, or book or picture, has been not only conceived but completed in imagination before it became actualized in fact. And then it is necessary to be able to compare the mental pictures, gathered by the perceptions, remembered and classified by memory and association, so as to determine the relation of these memories to each other and their application to other ideas or mental images. And this valuable faculty of the mind is called associative judgment. Every idea is not equal and it takes judgment to know this.
So far we need persistence, repetition, imagination, and judgment to make our new money story.
Visualization
For most, visualization and what it is - is foreign. The closest most people come to this is religious faith. Faith is not very well understood. Some say that faith is the evidence of things “unseen”. For many people this means nothing. Others say that things taken on faith exist, but need our “belief” to bring them into fruition. I will depart from a religious comparison as many
