Origami Party Time shows you how to make colorful decorations to brighten up parties, whether for a birthday, family reunion, shower, wedding, school event, or holiday celebration. Step-by-step instructions make it easy to fold table favors, large room decorations, and even provide entertainment for your guests. Throughout Origami Party Time I have tried to show how adults and children can become active participants in the party spirit.
You can start before an event by getting families and other groups together to fold origami invitations, toys, or give-away goody bags. When people work together they have fun and cement relationships. The decorations are easily transportable to a party at a different location, where they can be restored to three-dimensional form. If desired, they can be stored flat to be used again.
It can also be fun to show your guests how to fold their own favors, play a game, or compete in a contest. Later on they will proudly take home their own handcrafted origami. You may be surprised how enthusiastically guests respond.
Let your creative juices flow by choosing from the wonderful variety of available papers to coordinate a color scheme with the theme of the party. You will find that origami provides endless possibilities.
Let origami revitalize your party ideas!
