About the Author
Brian W. Clayton is the owner of Clayton Consulting and Design, LLC. located in Greensboro, NC., with over 20 years of AutoCAD experience and 8 years of Autodesk Revit experience. He has an A.A.S. Mechanical Engineering Degree, A.A.S. Mechanical Engineering Degree in CAD Support, and an A.A.S. Architectural Technology Degree, all from Guilford Technical Community College. He currently works as a commercial building space planner/designer, and provides commercial space measuring and upfits for property management companies, along with residential home designs and renovations. He is also an AutoCAD and Revit specialist for architectural and engineering firms, providing corporate training on the latest Revit /BIM and AutoCAD software, along with providing companies with informative ways to improve productivity in the use of the software.
Mr. Clayton is a faculty member at various higher education institutions, specializing in the facilitation of the course work to students enrolled in the Architectural Technology degree, Graphic Communication Systems and Continuing Education programs. His concentration is in technical training in various Revit/BIM and AutoCAD courses for the students and professionals in the surrounding city of Greensboro, NC, who want to continue their education and keep up to date with the latest versions of the software. The various higher education institutions Mr. Clayton works with include Guilford Technical Community College, Forsyth Technical Community College and North Carolina A&T State University. Mr. Clayton currently teaches courses in AutoCAD Fundamentals, Advanced AutoCAD, Revit Fundamentals, Advanced Revit, Revit MEP, Revit Interior Design, Revit Structure and Autodesk Inventor.
