Then one day she met a man on the train. He sat next to her...they talked. She refused him the first fifteen times he asked her out, but on the sixteenth she accepted, determined to show him such a bad time that he’d leave her alone. But guess what? She accepted his next invitation and many after that.
‘I didn’t want such a drastic change in my life,’ she told me. Change is what she finally gave in to, though, and she was rewarded with a blissful fifty-year marriage.
