Obbie Todd and his wife Kelly Beth live in Chaplin, KY. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2008 with plans to attend dentistry school, Obbie decided to leave the United States and deliver the good news of Christ in the third world. Three continents and three mountain ranges later, he returned with a new purpose in life: to preach the Word of God. 'Mountain Man' is a book of adventure. A young man's search for identity and purpose becomes a chance to experience the Gospel in each corner of the world. Obbie Todd's story begins in the mountains of Western Uganda searching for a mythical snake and it ends in the jungles of Peru in a rainforest robbery. Around every turn, Christ is revealed. 'Mountain Man' is a book of life, death, fear, and love. Before altering the direction of his life and realizing his calling to be a preacher, a young man must face his own fears and endure each mountain's unique test. Above all, 'Mountain Man' is a story of how the call to go and make disciples is also a call to be radically shaped by the Gospel we proclaim.
